Terms of Service for Dogwood Hub Advisory — engagement conditions, intellectual property, liability, and governing law for Australian clients.
1. Acceptance

2. Services
We provide business consulting and advisory services to small businesses. Service scope, fees, and deliverables are defined in a written quote or engagement letter signed before work commences. Website content is informational and does not constitute advice until an engagement is agreed.
3. Client responsibilities
Clients must provide accurate information, timely access to relevant staff and documents, and decisions within agreed timeframes. Delays caused by incomplete information may affect delivery dates and may incur additional fees if rescheduling is required.
4. Intellectual property
Deliverables created specifically for you (reports, plans, workshop materials) are licensed to you for internal business use upon full payment. Our methodologies, templates, and pre-existing materials remain our intellectual property. You may not resell or publish our deliverables without written consent.
5. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential information shared during an engagement private, except where disclosure is required by law or already public. We may use anonymised engagement themes for internal training and published field notes.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, our liability for any claim arising from an engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or lost-profit damages. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Professional advice boundaries
Our work is general business advisory. We do not provide legal, tax, financial product, or regulated financial advice. You should obtain specialist advice where required.
8. Website use
You may not misuse this site, attempt unauthorised access, scrape content at scale, or use automated means to submit forms. We may update or suspend the site without notice.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
